Breaking the design rules we have skilfully used diameter combined with
tapers to create an action that will compress rapidly.
The higher loading point and top-grade carbons produce a greater level of
'casting energy'. Projecting an altogether tighter loop this allows you to
both cast further and more easily into the wind.
Although an action often favoured by the more skilled angler this still
allows a versatile delivery. 'Fast' may be their character yet each rod is
forgiving enough to ensure, that with less than precise timings, they will
still deliver a respectable line.
Boasting our shortest fly rod at 7'6", a four piece delight, followed by
an 8' and 8'6"; these models are all at home with small rivers and 'sight'
fishing in miniature.
Each length of rod; 9', 9'6" and 10', have been fine tuned to offer a
diverse choice of light and powerful ratings from # 6 to # 8+. Performing
like a two section counterpart we also offer four section versions in
these lengths.
Crowning this family of thirteen is a powerful 11 '3" perfectly suited to
the rigours of reservoirs or big sea-trout and grilse.
Furnishings come in the shape high grade cork handles, hardwood and alloy
reel fitting and a detachable sport butt on all models 9' upwards. High
arch chrome snake guides feature on the standard models with single leg
Fuji aluminium oxide guides on the AFTM 8 rated versions.
All rods are supplied in a high quality travel tube and a lifetime
warranty.
