 Soft/Swim baits have rapidly become an important part of today's lure
angler's armoury proving devastatingly effective on big pike across the UK,
Europe and the US! The Replicants were the first soft rubber baits Fox
introduced and hot on their heels are the Deviants. These lures have proved
devastatingly effective during field tests catching fish of all sizes: from
Jacks right through to mid twenties. The success lies in the enticing action
of the tail which flutters enticingly on the retrieve triggering even the
most dormant of fish into feeding. Six colour patterns, many of which are
unique to Fox, have been specifically chosen to cover as many situations as
possible that the dedicated -lure angler is likely to face.

(Deep Diver)
This deep diving 'Deviant' is a large count down 'soft plastic' bait
which is best worked on a
 slow & steady retrieve creating a slight side
wards rocking motion which causes the broad rippling curly tail to wave
enticingly! The larger 8c heavier of the two models in this range at 176
grams, it is designed to be fished in depths of between two to seven metres
depending on your retrieve speed - proven to be a great all year round lure
which is especially effective when fished in deep open water and along drop
offs. Designed to be fished on heavy jerk bait rod like the Sleuth equipped
with an 80lb braided reel line, takes will vary from the typical rod 'wrencher'
to subtle taps so......set those hooks at the slightest sign of a take.

(Shallow Diver)
This shallow diving 'Deviant' is a smaller and lighter version of the
deep diver and has been designed to be fished in much shallower water! Best
worked with a slow retrieve - simply cast it out, count it down to the
required depth and then crank it back in on a steady retrieve to create a
slight side wards rocking motion that coupled along with an enticing
rippling action created by the tail will trigger takes in depths ranging
between one and five metres of water. Alternatively, this lure can also
prove devastating when trolled slowly behind the boat, especially on the big
trout waters.... Weighing 83 grams, it has been designed to be fished on
heavy spinning gear or a medium jerk bait rod like the Reflex equipped with
a 50lb or 65lb braid.
