If you’re looking for a rod that will cope with close to medium range
pike fishing on drains, rivers and smaller stillwaters, this is it! Mick
Brown designed this rod to be light and responsive but with plenty of
backbone. The result? They cast like a dream and have excellent line
pick-up on the strike, resulting in very positive hook-ups.
Mick didn’t blindly follow fashion and create yet another 12 ft rod.
Instead, using modern materials he concentrated on making a better rod,
which is his favourite for float fishing deadbaits and paternoster
techniques. It will, however, cast a legered bait a long way.
