 The
Generator range has been developed in direct contrast to the classic range
and is aimed at the angler who prefers the more contemporary feel to a carp
rod.The name Generator was chosen to reflect the raw power that these rods can produce when required. Finished in the natural appearance of high modulus carbon the rods have been dressed with a smooth finished, slim, shrink wrapped handle, incorporating a unique and ergonomic butt grip design. The reel seat is, once again, a personal design of Dave’s and has been formulated using Fuji parts to give a professional and individual feel to the rods. These rods also utilise the ultra slim, twin leg, Max-Lite guides. Once again the finest silk whippings have been chosen, only this time in a complimentary charcoal finish. The blanks themselves are constructed from an extremely high grade carbon, blended specifically for the job in hand. Woven carbon has been deliberately avoided in the construction of all the Dave Lane rods due to the limitations that it imposes, particularly with the customisation of blank action, which is Dave’s main concern with all his rods. Only the highest quality materials have been used in all aspects of the development of these rods.
