ANTARES AX MATCH ROD
Antares AX Multi-Match rods each have their own extension that attaches to the butt to add an extra foot of length - without changing the action. The concept effectively gives you two rods in one and, like the Antares AX Feeder rods, they are lighter and slimmer than ever before.

SHIMANO ROD FEATURES

SHIMANO DYNAMIC RESPONSE
The unique SDR construction process eliminates any spine forming during manufacture, meaning the blank action is always uniform regardless of which way the rod is bent. Shimano Dynamic Response keeps you in touch with each and every turn a fish makes, increasing sensitivity and responsive reaction speed. It also improves the blank’s recovery speed for a crisper action; ideal when lightning bites demand instant response.

DYNA-BALANCE
A built-in balancing system which reduces rod vibration, improves balance and creates a more responsive & reactive rod.

T-CURVE CARBON
The Shimano Tcurve process combines special graphite cloth with a revolutionary resin formula and manufacturing technique. The three-ply weave undergoes a clinical curing process to produce a unique ‘Dynamic’ blank with massive pressure thresholds. Unlike others, Tcurve resin molecules retain elasticity after the manufacturing process. The outcome is 20-40% more compression resistance than regular carbon.

REEL SEATS
Shimano reel seats are specifically designed for many of our fl oat and feeder rods. Ergonomically profiled for maximum handling comfort, they retain functionality and balance. Incredibly light and robust, they hold a reel securely in the perfect position. Shimano’s unique ergonomic reel seat graces several models, taking reel seat technology to new levels of excellence with a stylish, tactile grip offering all season comfort.

BIOFIBRE
Adding Biofibre re-enforces the carbon fibres in all directions. This gives outstanding strength, shock resistance, lightness and power.

Fine Crystal Carbon has a more compact structure than
other carbons resulting in increased resilience, added punch and more dependable overall performance.

Combining lightweight yet robust anodised steel frames
with Aluminium Oxide liners, Shimano’s Hardlite (SiH) guides off er the ideal balance of strength and performance without compromise.

SHIMANO SILICIUM (SiC)
Produced using some of the strongest and lightest materials available, Shimano Silicium (SiC) guides are incredibly light, ensuring minimal friction for perfect casting, presentation and fish playing.

SPEEDMASTER MATCH ROD
This range of Biofibre-powered rods benefit from Shimano Dynamic Response construction. Superb casting performance is the upshot, with the generous amount of Fuji guides mounted to ensure minimal line friction. This aids accuracy, distance and that all-important extra - confidence.

NEXAVE AX MATCH ROD
Built using XT30 and XT60 carbon, the slim blank of the Nexave AX Match offers excellent value for money, combined with a classic refined action. Available in three lengths these rods are highly recommended.
